Why learn stand-up?
Our 8-week stand-up comedy course takes you from a blank page to a live performance, covering everything from writing your own material to stagecraft, confidence and yes… which end of the microphone to speak into. Courses run in person, in a small, private group, over 8 weekly sessions (2 hours per week), creating a supportive and encouraging space to experiment, write, and grow. The course finishes with a live showcase for friends, family, and colleagues. Each performer receives 5 free tickets, and there is no obligation to sell tickets. If you’d like to use your final performance to raise money for a charity close to your heart, you’re very welcome to, completely optional, but often incredibly rewarding. Pay It Forward If you’re able and feeling generous, we also offer a Pay It Forward option.
