Gags for Good CIC is a Sheffield-based social enterprise using comedy and creative writing to build confidence, reduce loneliness and create inclusive opportunities for connection and personal growth.

We believe laughter isn’t just entertainment, it’s a powerful tool for wellbeing, self-expression and social change. Our mission is to make comedy accessible to everyone, particularly people who may feel excluded, isolated or lacking in confidence.

Through supportive, inclusive courses and workshops, we help individuals find their voice, rebuild self-belief and connect with others in a welcoming, non-judgemental environment. No previous experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to have a go.

Alongside our work with individuals, we partner with employers to support staff wellbeing, team connection, creative thinking, communication and presentation confidence. Our sessions offer a refreshing, human approach to workplace development, one that prioritises people over performance.

We also work closely with charities and organisations in the mental health and wellbeing sector, providing referral routes so service users can access our courses safely and affordably. Any profits we generate are reinvested directly back into the organisation to create more opportunities, bursaries and inclusive comedy projects.
